Creation of the company Océans Transports Maritimes
Philippe Robineau, former director of major corporations, founded Océans Transports Maritimes on April 1, 1996. While many people thought it was an April Fool’s joke, the fledgling company announced that it would offer its future customers unparalleled speed of service (at the time, it took a week to get quotes) with highly documented file tracking and turnaround times three times shorter than those of large corporations.
The chemistry worked, and major agri-food manufacturers decided to give this small company, which wanted to be different, a chance. Twenty years later, our first customers are still with us. We thank them for their trust and loyalty.
2016
20 years and still more responsive
20 years old… and not a wrinkle in sight. The small maritime transport company has grown and now has around 20 professional and dedicated employees. With €18 million in revenue and international partnerships, OCEANS is one of the big names in maritime transit. Our quality of service, our attentiveness, our responsiveness, which is unmatched today, our technical solutions, and our ability to offer tailored and innovative solutions make us a highly sought-after outsider among shipping companies.
