YOUR GOODS ALL OVER THE WORLD: FOCUS ON INDIA
With one of the fastest-growing economies in the world still in 2024, India intends to pursue its development, particularly with its main partner, the European Union. International trade has also increased between India and the rest of the world, and continues to grow. The announcement of the creation of a logistics corridor between India and the EU should boost this trade as the trade agreement is relaunched.

EU-INDIA: AN EXPANDING ECONOMY
There is a real desire on the part of the Indian and the European union to develop business and, consequently, logistics, which will become more pronounced in the years to come with trade exchanges and agreements between the two partners.
The recent announcement of the creation of a logistics corridor between India and the EU, known as the IMEC Project, is expected to boost trade by around 40%. France should be an integral part of this project, including the port of Marseille-Fos, with the aim of positioning the port as the main entry and exit point for this future corridor.
FREE TRADE AGREEMENT
Initially launched in 2007 and then suspended in 2013, negotiations on the free trade agreement (FTA) between India and the EU resumed in June 2022. To date, however, the agreement remains on ice, with certain points of disagreement still outstanding. Ursula Von Der Leyen’s visit to India earlier this year rekindled the debate, with India and the EU aiming to reach an agreement by the end of 2025.
