BALGUERIE GROUP COMMITS TO THE EVCOM APPROACH

| Theme:

Since 1ᵉʳ July 2025, Balguerie Group has been officially committed to the EVcom scheme. This voluntary commitment, supported by the national EVE (Engagements Volontaires pour l’Environnement) programme run by ADEME and the French Ministry for Ecological Transition, Eco CO2 and Professional Organisations such as TLF, helps freight forwarders to sustainably reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) and atmospheric pollutant emissions.

The EVCom commitment is a voluntary and demanding approach.

Following a CO2 diagnosis, Balguerie Group has made a 3-year commitment with a quantified target of reducing emissions by at least 5% and a personalised action plan.

A roadmap for 2025-2028 sets out objectives with detailed actions in the four EVCom levers:

  • Own fleet
  • Transport purchasing
  • Customer collaboration
  • CSR approach

A common framework for the entire supply chain:

EVCom complements the Objectif CO₂ (hauliers) and FRET21 (shippers) schemes, to create a coherent industry dynamic.

A progress report on our EVCom roadmap will be published on a regular basis to share our progress, successes and challenges.
