With 1,939,526 tonnes handled in 2025 (freight and mail), Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) recorded a 1.3% growth, solidifying its position as the second-largest European hub, trailing Frankfurt and leading London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AIR ACTIVITY DRIVEN BY ALL-CARGO AND ASIA <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The year 2025 was characterized by a structural balance between belly cargo in passenger aircraft (48%) and dedicated all-cargo flights (52%). The latter segment showed remarkable momentum with 39,900 movements, representing a 32% increase compared to 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;General Cargo&#8221; segment (traditional freight, excluding express) saw a historic year, with a 110% increase in movements compared to pre-Covid levels. This vitality is primarily driven by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Massive e-commerce flows originating from Asia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The strengthening of traffic rights to China finalized in May 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite a complex geopolitical environment, CDG continues to prove its capacity to capture major global trade flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GROUPE ADP&#8217;S COMMITMENT TO A SUSTAINABLE &amp; CONNECTED &#8220;CARGO CITY&#8221; <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Groupe ADP is accelerating the transformation of the cargo zone into a district that balances environmental performance with hospitality:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Innovative Real Estate: The launch of the DUO program (47,200 m\u00b2) illustrates this ambition. This mixed-use building, combining a freight terminal and business park, meets BREEAM Excellent and BiodiverCity certifications and utilizes geothermal energy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Green Mobility: A major cycle path connecting the cargo zone to the heart of the airport was inaugurated in the fall of 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality of Life: &#8220;Cooling islands&#8221; and landscaped relaxation areas are being deployed to improve the daily lives of the 90,000 employees working on the platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, Paris-CDG enters 2026 with a strategy focused on optimizing existing infrastructure through innovation and decarbonization to maintain its European competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within this context of transformation, Balguerie Group confirms its long-standing presence at Roissy.
